Custom Gridfinity grid
A modular grid makes bins easier to move and replace. Before choosing compartments, check how many cells actually fit in your drawer.

The outside dimensions of furniture are not the usable dimensions for an organizer. Start inside the drawer and check the available space when it closes.
Measure the internal width from left to right and depth from front to back where the grid will sit. If the walls slope, measure at several points and use the narrowest usable dimension. Enter dimensions in centimetres in the configurator.
Also measure the clear height to the first obstacle when the drawer is closed: a crossbar, runner or top panel. Drawer-wall height alone does not always describe this space.
Check rounded corners, screw heads, raised areas and runners. A rectangle that fits in the centre may hit the corners. Use the customization route for non-straight edges and check the profile in the preview.
Leave enough room to insert and remove the grid. When using a custom outline, do not compensate for an obstacle by only reducing the overall size: describe the edge and check the layout.
Consider the height of the lower objects, the support, the upper bin and its contents together. They must fit within the drawer's closing clearance and allow access without jamming.
After choosing the grid, check the remaining space and add bins. Before generating files, check footprints and flagged elements in the map and 3D view. Print tolerances require a physical sample.
